Welcome! I received my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, where I specialized in motivation and teaching clinical practice. Since the late 90’s, I have been practicing as a social worker and therapist in trauma and disability, in private practice, and at medical locations. I have also taught counseling and clinical practice courses at different universities in Texas. I enjoy working with diverse communities, and I focus on a person’s resilience through promoting inner-strengths, self-awareness, and self-care.
